Itinerary
1. Discover Ek Balam with a guide and after the guided visit you will have free time to explore by yourself.
2. To finish this incredible adventure, you will enjoy a refreshing swim in an ancestral cenote. These were and are sources of water for the peoples of the region. Fill yourself with energy in this mystical place.
3. After visiting the archaeological site, we make a cultural stop where you’ll admire local handicrafts at a stone workshop and watch artisans create them. You will taste handmade corn tortillas prepared by Maya women, sample Xtabentún, a traditional regional drink, and receive a blessing from a Maya shaman. Here, you will also enjoy a delicious buffet featuring a variety of regional Mexican dishes in the Yucatán style.
4. One of the spots to enjoy is the wonderful colonial city of Valladolid. There, our guides will tell you about the city's great history and take you to visit the 16th-century San Servacio Cathedral, which holds a rich history. The main park is a place where you can relax and taste sweets, ice cream, and many typical things from this wonderful city.
