Itinerary

1. Johnston Canyon
Johnston Canyon was our guests’ most requested stop, and it’s now part of our tour year-round. We give you time to explore the canyon’s catwalks, enjoy the waterfalls, and stop for photos along the way. In winter, frozen waterfalls and snow-covered canyon walls offer a different perspective. Your guide will explain the route and current trail conditions so you can make the most of your visit. Summer visit: 90 minutes. If Johnston Canyon is closed for safety or maintenance, we’ll visit Marble Canyon instead.
Duration: 60 mins
2. Moraine Lake
Moraine Lake is a place we love sharing with our guests. Join your guide for a short hike up the Rockpile to enjoy views across the lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks. If you prefer a gentler pace, explore the lakeshore or settle into a quiet spot to take it all in. We’ll explain your options and help you make the most of your visit, with access and direct transportation taken care of. Seasonal stop: Opens June 1, with Parks Canada’s scheduled road closure on October 13. When Moraine Lake is closed, we visit Surprise Corner and Castle Mountain Viewpoint instead.
Duration: 60 mins
3. Lake Louise
your guide will help you make the most of your visit, with suggestions to suit your interests, the season, and how active you’d like to be. Take a short hike, explore the lakeshore, or grab a coffee and settle in with the view. We’ll show you where to go and what’s possible during your stop, so you can enjoy Lake Louise your way. There’s something to enjoy here in every season, and we’ll help you find it.
Duration: 60 mins
4. Banff Avenue
Starting with a quick drive-through tour to help you get your bearings. Your guide will share favourite spots to eat, shop, and explore before you head out at your own pace. Sit down for a well-deserved meal, find a souvenir along Banff Avenue, or grab a coffee and wander beneath the mountain views—it’s a relaxed way to round out your day in the Rockies. Summer visit: 1 hour 30 minutes. Winter visit: 2 hours.
Duration: 120 mins
5. Bow Falls
At Bow Falls, we’ll stop for a closer look at the Bow River as it tumbles over a wide stretch of rock beneath the surrounding mountains. Take a short walk along the riverside, capture a few photos, or simply enjoy the sound of the water. From rushing summer waters to snow and ice along the river in winter, it’s a stop we enjoy sharing year-round.
Duration: 15 mins
6. Castle Junction
Castle Mountain is one of Banff’s most recognizable peaks, with towering rock walls that resemble a fortress above the valley. This viewpoint is a favourite of ours—a place to pause, take a few photos, and simply enjoy the quiet and the scale of the mountains around you. Your guide will share a little of Castle Mountain’s story before giving you time to take it all in. We visit Castle Mountain Viewpoint when Moraine Lake is closed for the season.
Duration: 15 mins
7. Surprise Corner
Surprise Corner offers one of Banff’s most iconic views of the Fairmont Banff Springs—the “Castle in the Mountains.” From across the Bow River, you’ll see the historic hotel framed by forest and mountain peaks. Your guide will share stories behind this Banff landmark, with time to enjoy the view and capture a memorable photograph. We visit Surprise Corner when Moraine Lake is closed for the season.
Duration: 15 mins
8. Canmore
While we won’t be touring the town itself, it serves as a convenient and picturesque meeting point— (MEETING POINT)
