Thank you for booking your self-guided bike tour with We Like Tuscany. ✔ STEP 1 — Download the navigation app on your phone Please download Maps.me from the App Store or Google Play. click here to download: https://maps.me/ ➡️ We recommend installing it on at least two fully charged phones per group. ✔ STEP 2 — Download the Tuscany offline map Open Maps.me Zoom into Florence The app will ask you to download the Tuscany map Confirm the download This allows navigation even without an internet connection. ✔ STEP 3 — Download the route file Open this link in your browser (Chrome or Safari recommended): CLICK TO DOWNLOAD MAP FILE: https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/4cEHFd9T2CnAL6EVju7g Your phone will download a file with the route. ✔ STEP 4 — Import the route into Maps.me After downloading: • The phone may automatically ask you to open the file in Maps.me • If not, follow the steps below. iPhone instructions Open the downloaded file You will see a page with text/code Tap the share icon (arrow pointing up) Scroll through the apps and select Maps.me (if you don’t see it, tap “More” and find Maps.me) The route will automatically appear inside the app in the Florence area. Android instructions Open the downloaded file Select Open with… Choose Maps.me The route should import automatically. ▶️ Introduction video (some things have changed and improved since we created the video - but you can get the general idea on how the navigation works!) This is NOT a charge and will be automatically released after the tour. (depends on your bank - can take up to 10 days) We will help you at check-in and make sure everything works before departure.
