Overview
With us you will get to know the city from a new perspective, fun and interactive. It will be like an escape room, but in the city! It is a self-guided tour, so you can start whenever you want. With the application you will explore the city while solving puzzles and brainteasers. Each game has an exciting storyline, in which you help the protagonist to escape or accomplish an important mission. During this mission, you will discover city remnants of Roman times and the Middle Ages in the centre of Maastricht while searching for the key of Saint Servatius. An art theft gang tries to get the key based on clues in a medieval manuscript. Will you manage to outwit the art theft gang? During the game you will visit 21 locations: the city's attractions and lesser-known places. The game is available in Dutch and English.

To start the game you will need to download the app Loquiz in the Apple Store or Play Store. You will receive the login information to start the game within a few hours, if not faster. Make sure you bring a phone with a recently charged battery. Start the game when you arrive at the fountain in front of the Saint Servaas Basilica.

Itinerary
1. The Basilica of Saint Servatius is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Servatius, in the city of Maastricht, the Netherlands.
2. Vrijthof is a large urban square in the centre of Maastricht, Netherlands. The square developed from an ancient Roman and Frankish cemetery into a semi-private space that belonged to the Collegiate Church of Saint Servatius.
3. The Dominicanenkerk is a Gothic church building in the center of the Dutch city of Maastricht, located at Dominicanerkerkstraat 1, near the Vrijthof. The church was built in the 13th century as a monastery church for the order of preachers or Dominicans.
4. St. Servaasbridge is an arched stone cyclist and pedestrian bridge across the river Meuse in Maastricht, Netherlands. It is named after Saint Servatius, the first bishop of Maastricht, and (despite being largely rebuilt after World War II) it has been called the oldest bridge in the Netherlands.
5. The Helpoort is a medieval gate located in the city of Maastricht. It was built in the 13th century as part of the city's fortifications and is one of the oldest surviving city gates in the Netherlands.
6. The Onze Lieve Vrouw Sterre der Zee Basiliek, or Basilica of Our Lady Star of the Sea, is a Roman Catholic church located in the city of Maastricht. The church dates back to the 8th century and is known for its stunning Gothic architecture, including its towering spires and intricate stone carvings. It is one of the most important religious sites in Maastricht and is visited by thousands of tourists and pilgrims each year.
7. The Stadhuis is the historic town hall in the centre of Maastricht in the Netherlands. It is sited on the Markt square an open-air marketplace. The building was designed by the Dutch Gold Age architect and painter Pieter Post in the 17th century in the style of Dutch classicism. The interior is mostly still from the 17th century.
8. The Bisschopsmolen is a historic watermill located in the city of Maastricht, in the southern Netherlands. The mill dates back to the 7th century and has been in operation for over a thousand years, producing flour and other grains. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction and a working bakery that produces a variety of traditional Dutch baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
