Thank you for choosing Adventure Sixty North LLC for your kayaking needs! We are very pleased that you have chosen us for your Seward adventure. Your Exit Ice Hike is confirmed. This hike should be only attempted by hikers in good physical condition and we also advise you to bring rain gear, and wear non cotton attire (synthetic type hiking clothing recommended), wool socks with hiking boots (no sandals), and sun glasses. This trip is a hike up into upper elevations and you may encounter various conditions such as wind at higher altitudes and also cooler temps as you gain elevation. Wearing a windbreaker with hood and having light synthetic layering that can be added or removed is advisable. We provide guide, crampons, harness, helmet, trekking poles, lunch, snacks, and pickup to and from your Seward lodging if needed - please advise if pick up is needed. Trail is subject to closure due inclement weather or wildlife issues. We are located on Exit Glacier/Herman Leirer Rd. (31872 Herman Leirer Rd.) Our shop is approx 1/4mi. down the road on the right next to the Exit Glacier Lodge & Salmon Bake Restaurant. This road is located north of Seward, and is well marked with a sign that says Exit Glacier Visitors Center turn off. Please feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns regarding your reservation or for any information on Seward or Alaska.
