Itinerary
1. We will start with an introduction to the origins of Amsterdam. Especially, at this place we will learn about the world's first stock market.
2. We will explain the importance and history of this central square.
3. Learn about the history of this fascinating building that originally served as the town hall of Amsterdam.
4. We will cross the Canal Ring of Amsterdam and learn about the extension of the city during the medieval.
5. The nine streets have become a cozy area for shopping away from the masses of tourism.
6. We will discover hidden streets and squares and learn about this remaining authentic Amsterdam neighbourhood.
7. The church for the poor - learn why this was constructed exactly here.
8. A beautiful courtyard that was constructed in 1650 for widows. It is one of the first social housing projects in the world.
9. We will pass by the Anne Frank house during our stroll through the Jordaan.
10. The Westerkerk is a marvel of a church. The rich merchants of Amsterdam had it built. Rembrandt was buried here.
