Overview

During this small-group tour we absorb unique Scottish scenery at its best with many magnificent lochs (lakes) set against backdrops of dramatic mountains. We'll also weave stories of Scottish history, pass through battle sites and be introduced to our nation's mythical creatures.

Itinerary

1. Balmaha

We'll arrive at Loch Lomond, arguably the most romantic and beautiful loch in all of Scotland, here we’ll have the option to take a scenic cruise across Loch Lomond on the Waterbus (£14). Alternatively continue on the road for a scenic drive.

2. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park

Arriving into the picturesque village of Luss, either by water or land, take time to explore, enjoy a traditional Scottish lunch and 'soak in' the views before our journey continues into the Highlands.

3. Falls of Dochart

Absorb stirring views at the this beautiful natural landmark./

4. Kilmahog

Encounter with some of Scotland’s most beloved residents—Highland cows, or as locals affectionately call them, ‘Hairy Coos’. With their long, shaggy coats and curved horns, these gentle giants are a living symbol of the Highlands.

5. The Kelpies & The Helix

See these colossal, 30-metre (100-foot) high horse-head sculptures that pay homage to the mythical water spirits said to inhabit Scotland’s lochs and rivers.
