The tour starts outside of 99 Main St, Edgartown, MA 02539, on the sidewalk outside the house, you’ll see the White House and gazebo on the left.. The historic house tells the story of Martha's Vineyard and its whaling story. The tour guides you step by step through Edgartown telling you the history

End Point

The tour ends at the old lighthouse where you'll hear the story of the lighthouse and the area around it. It's a great view, one of the best in the area.

1. Dr. Daniel Fisher House
The tour starts outside of the Dr. Daniel Fisher house, the historic house tells the story of Martha's Vineyard and it's whaling story. The tour will then guide you step by step through Edgartown telling you it's history.
2. Edgartown
We will stop by many houses as we walk through the streets of this historic town and you'll hear about their hidden stories. These include stories of Jaws, settlers, Native Americans, folklore and legends, ghosts, the underground railroad and much more.

3. Edgartown Town Hall
Historical spot in downtown that was also the site of the filming for Jaws! Learn about the part of the movie that was filmed here and the story behind why they choose Martha's Vineyard.
4. The Federated Church of Martha's Vineyard
The tour stops at the church and you'll learn the story of when Frederick Douglas gave a moving speech here and you'll hear about the role the Edgartown played on the underground railroad.

5. Giant Pagoda Tree
We wills top at the Giant Pagoda Tree and you'll hear how the ship captain brought it here 150 years ago, how it became part of the town and the rich people that tried to cut it down.
