2. Shinkyo Bridge
The vermillion-lacquered Shinkyo Bridge is an icon of Nikko. It sits at the entrance to the Nikko mountains and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

3. Nikko Tosho-gu
Most of the shrine complex you see today was rebuilt in 17th century. The shrine contains 55 buildings including 8 national treasures and 34 listed buildings.

4. Irohazaka Route
rohazaka is a pair of winding roads (ascending and descending) connecting Nikko-city and the mountainous Lake Chuzenji area.

5. Lake Chuzenji
A scenic lake in the mountains above the town of Nikko. It is located at the foot of Mount Nantai, Nikko's sacred volcano.

6. Chuzenji Temple
