Itinerary
1. The Stadshaven of Goes is the former harbor of the city of Goes. Today the harbor is used as a marina.
2. Right in the center of the picturesque Zeeland town of Goes, a stately building stands in the shadow of the Maria Magdalena Church. And not just any building: this was a castle!
3. As early as the twelfth century, a parish church dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene stood on this site. The church underwent many extensions, largely burned down in 1618, but then rose again in all its glory.
4. The Historical Museum De Bevelanden is a museum in Goes about the history of North and Zuud-Beveland. The museum is located in a former monastery.
5. The City Hall of Goes, in the Dutch province of Zeeland, is a large complex that was completed in several phases.
6. The former orphanage complex (Zusterstraat 13) consists of several two-storey buildings around a courtyard, which is accessible through a 17th-century gate. The complex was founded in the 15th century as the Monastery of St. Agnes of the Black Sisters.
7. Podium 't Beest is a stage for music, theater and film in Goes. For children there are special children's films and children's theatre.
8. The old man's house with garden behind it in Goes is a national monument on Zusterstraat in Goes.
9. On Tuesdays, the market vendors display their wares for you in the heart of Goes. The offer is diverse and spread over the Grote Markt in Goes
