1. Our bus will drop us off at Bargeplein. Here we will have 10 minutes to go to the bathroom. The guide will explain what time they should return to the bus.
2. Our first stop will be Minnewater Lake, also known as the "Lake of Love". With the beautiful lake in the background, our guide will explain the history of Bruges, as well as the love story linked to this lake.
3. The next stop on our tour will be the Beguinario. Founded in 1245, this place keeps the history of an incredible group of women.
4. Here our guide will teach us how to identify the original medieval houses.
5. In this beautiful square, our guide will explain the history of the Bruges beer.
6. In one of the most charming places in Bruges, our guide will explain the interesting legend of this bridge. They will also have time to take photos.
7. You will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos from the small bridge.
8. In front of the Old St. John Hospital, our guide will explain how the health system in medieval Bruges worked.
9. In front of the old Hospital of San Juan, we will find the Church of Our Lady. From the outside, our guide will explain some curiosities of the white marble sculpture of the Virgin and Child created by Michelangelo that is found inside the church.
10. In front of Gruuthuse, we will meet the most famous and powerful family in Bruges between the 17th and 18th centuries.
11. In this square we find the Gothic town hall, the old courthouse and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
12. In the most photographed place in Bruges, our guide will tell us about the history surrounding the "Muelle de las rosas". You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.
13. Our next stop is the Tanners Square, here we will learn how tanners worked in medieval Bruges.
14. The last point of our guided tour is the Grote Markt. Here our guide will explain the different buildings around the square and also give you some tips on where to eat or what are the best shops to buy traditional chocolate. The guide will also remind you when and where you need to be to catch the bus to Ghent.
15. In one of the few certified artisan chocolate shops, we will have the opportunity to taste artisan chocolates. Our guide will also tell us about the famous Bruges chocolate and give us some tips to distinguish handmade from industrial chocolate.
16. Free time, you will enjoy approximately 1.5 hours of free time (depending on traffic and the rhythm of the group).
17. Here awaits our guide and the bus. Transfer to Ghent.
18. We arrived in Ghent, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. We walk to the center, where the guided tour will begin.
19. We begin our guided tour in front of the Town Hall. Here our guide will explain the different architectural styles of the building.
20. Our guide will explain this iconic tower and the history surrounding your dragon.
21. You will discover the exterior and interior of the Cathedral of Ghent, where the most stolen painting in history is kept, the famous painting by the Van Eyck brothers "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb".
22. Do you know that Belgian churches organize concerts and other events?
23. In front of the original facade of the masons' guild house, our guide will explain what the guild houses are and their peculiarity.
24. In front of the church of Saint Nicholas, we find the Korenmarkt. In this place the peculiar history of the building where the post office used to be will be explained.
25. On this bridge you can take some incredible photos. The history of the tower of the Church of San Miguel will also be explained here.
26. We will follow the banks of the Lys river. We will get to know the buildings that surround the canal, such as the "grain house" or the current Marriott Hotel. You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.
27. The next stop is the meat house, which dates back to the 15th century and was originally a covered market.
28. In front of the Meat House, we will make a small stop at a traditional street stall. Here the seller will tell us about the most famous sweet in Ghent, the cuberdon.
29. The last point of our guided tour is the Sint-Veerleplein square. Here our guide will explain the history of the square and the different buildings around it. Also, it will give you some tips on where to eat or which are the best souvenir shops. The guide will also remember when and where you need to be to take the bus back to Brussels.
