Overview
Are you planning a day out or weekend trip to Rotterdam, then you can have a lot of fun with this city walk. An Escape game and city walk at the same time. 3,5 kilometres long and over 2 hours of fun for the family or a group of friends. Meanwhile, during this game there is plenty of time to sit on one of the terraces. A city walk has never been so much fun. Finally there is a trail, as one of Rotterdam's robbers, has been spotted in the city. There are several witnesses who do want to help in exchange for help from you with some questions and puzzles they have. Especially since they recently stole Rembrandt van Rijn's painting Titus from the Boijmans van Beuningen museum. If only there was a team of people who could help the city.
Meeting and Pickup
You can go to the starting point: Grotekerkplein. Daar begint de tour. Check the email you received with further explanation and the login information for the special app. There is no guide. The game automatically takes you to all the beautiful spots in the center of Rotterdam.
End Point
The game ends downtown.

Itinerary
1. Planning a city walk in the centre of Rotterdam? Then the 'escape the city' game will ensure that the city walk will be one to remember. About 2 hours and 3,5 km further on, you will not only have seen the most beautiful spots of the city during this city walk in Rotterdam, but you will also have done the local police a favour by finding one of the city's biggest criminals... The Rotterdam Robbers. The trail naturally leads along the 20 most beautiful and surprising places in Rotterdam.
2. With this Escape the City Tour you will see the highlights of Rotterdam. A few you can see below (Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk, Markthal, Kijk-Kubus, Wijnhaven and more).
3. The Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk, often simply called Laurenskerk, is a Gothic church building in Rotterdam. It is the only remnant of Rotterdam's medieval city centre.
4. It is a modern indoor market where you can buy fresh produce and dishes and have a nice browse around. Dutch artist Arno Coenen has turned the inside into a true work of art.
5. The Cube Houses are Rotterdam's most famous houses. In the Kijk-Kubus, you can see what the house looks like seven days a week.
6. Until 2004, Rotterdam was the world's largest port. Now, though, it is still the largest in Europe.
7. Coolsingel is the boulevard of Rotterdam. It is the most important street in the city. After the redesign, it has become a spacious, green and beautifully designed city boulevard with monumental allure thanks to the new paving, the greenery and the new lighting. With less car traffic, Coolsingel is now a lively street where you can stroll, shop and attend events.
