NO. To participate in the waterslide experience swimming is not necessary, although you will be in water of varying depths, life vests available for FREE with your guide. This experience is in the rainforest, rain or shine we leave on time Excessive rain can cause the water level to be too high to hike to and enjoy the waterslide.
