Itinerary

1. The Great Pyramid of Khufu
"You will be transferred via an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo, a scenic drive of 3 hours, with a stop if needed to rest. Our Egyptologist guide will set the stage for an extraordinary private trip to the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Your first stop is the Pyramid of Cheops, the largest pyramid in the Giza Plateau—and the world. Here you will get the opportunity to live an Indiana Jones–like quest by getting inside the body of the Great Pyramid with an optional ticket that grants you access inside."
Duration: 30 mins
2. Pyramid of Khafre
"Next, stand before the majestic Pyramid of Chephren, the second tallest of the Giza Pyramids and the only one still retaining part of its original casing at the summit. Accompanied by your private guide, you'll explore the surrounding ruins, and gain deep insight into the power and legacy of King Khafre."
Duration: 30 mins
3. Pyramid of Menkaure
"Next, discover the Pyramid of Mykerinos, the smallest of the three pyramids yet rich in mystery and architectural precision. With your private Egyptologist, explore its unique structure and astonishing red granite casing, learn about King Menkaure's legacy, and enjoy a deeper look into ancient royal symbolism."
Duration: 30 mins
4. Great Sphinx of Giza
Continue to the Great Sphinx, a massive statue that harks back to the era of Chephren and combines a lion's body with a human's head. Don't miss the chance to snap that iconic selfie kissing the Sphinx.
Duration: 30 mins
5. Valley Temple of Khafre
Proceed to the Valley Temple, a mysterious structure built with colossal granite blocks. The temple, thought to date back to the reign of King Chephren, is identical to Latin American ancient temples, sparking theories of lost technologies and mysterious building methods. Uncover the hidden symbolism of this enigmatic site as you explore the Giza Plateau in depth with your private Egyptologist.
Duration: 30 mins
6. Step Pyramid of Djoser
"Next, journey to the Sakkara Necropolis to admire the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's oldest large-scale stone structure. You'll also have the opportunity to see one of the magnificent Mastabas (burial chambers) of Ptah Hotep, Idut, or Mereruca. Before returning to Alexandria, you'll stop at a Papyrus Institute, where you can shop for souvenirs from Cairo and Egypt. And finally, your guide will accompany you back to your cruise ship at Alexandria Port. Sun Pyramids Tours ensures a transparent and hassle-free experience, so you won't encounter any hidden surprises or unexpected costs." Note: All Attraction entry fees, including tickets to the pyramids area, are covered, except entry fees into the body of the Great Pyramid. Tickets can be purchased on site. Note: The departure time from Cairo is dependent on the departure time of your ship at Alexandria Port.
