The date and time selected is the date and time of the Brunelleschi Cupola climbing and it is mandatory

You will need to climb 463 steps to reach the top of the Duomo; there is no elevator

The entry to the dome has a specific time to get in. The ticket and security check process takes between 10 and 15 minutes, and no one can skip or avoid this step

To enter the Cathedral, you have to get in through the Crypt entrance.his is a fast-track entrance, but could take up to 25-30 minutes due to crowds (as opposed to normal lines that take up to 2-3 hours)

You can start using the pass from the morning of the date selected to visit the museums included, in their opening time.

The VR Video Guide Experience – “Brunelleschi’s Dome: Building the Impossible” is produced with the patronage of the Opera del Duomo, offering a deeper understanding of the Dome’s construction and history.

Large bags & backpacks are not allowed inside the Duomo Complex.

The Cathedral may be closed for liturgical reasons without notice. The Cathedral and Crypt remain closed on Sundays and Christian holidays. The Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault. The Baptistery closes at 1:30 PM every first Sunday of the month. The Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of each month.
