Itinerary

1. Catacombs Of Kom El Shoqafa
Visiting the entrances to the Kom Tombs, which is the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock.

2. Pompey's Pillar
You will also drive by the Pompeii Column and stop to take pictures (it was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century).

3. Citadel of Qaitbay
This picturesque fortress was built during the 14th century to defend Alexandria from the advances of the momluks and Ottoman Empire and it was established in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa'it Bay in the location of the legendary Pharos Lighthouse which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
