Backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.
Sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral's dress requirements.
Please kindly consider that unannounced renovation work may occur during the off-season, and crowds are expected during the high season.
The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
Giotto’s Bell Tower has no lift available.

Please note that Cathedral visits are not available on Sundays.
Both the Duomo Museum and the Florence Baptistery are scheduled to be visited; however, depending on timing and availability, the tour may include only one of the two sites.
The Cathedral is an active place of worship and may be closed to visitors at any time for liturgical services or religious ceremonies, sometimes without prior notice.
