5. Gateway Of India
Gateway of India is the most popular structure of Mumbai. It was built to welcome the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. On February 28, 1948, the last British troops passed through the Gateway of India in a ceremony signaling the end of British rule in India.
