PANNA MEENA STEPWELL Discover the architectural wonder of Panna Meena Ka Kund Jaipur, a must-see destination for thousands of visitors each year. This 200-meter-deep stepwell is a popular attraction that draws travelers from all around the globe.
2. Panna Meena ka Kund, built in the 16th century, is a remarkable eight-story stepwell, 200 feet deep with 1,800 perfectly symmetrical steps. Originally designed as a water reservoir and social gathering spot, it stands as a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship and functional elegance of ancient Indian architecture.
3. The Jal Mahal, the water palace that is situated in the midst of the beautiful Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur City. Jal Mahal is an exceptional structure of the Rajput culture. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. A wonderful five storied building built in red sandstone.
4. The Hawa Mahal, the most famous landmark of Jaipur, the palace of winds built by Sawai Pratap Singh was actually planned for the royal household to have a look at everyday life of the city. The palace has tier upon tier of curved arch surmounting fairy casements with “jali” – latticework screens.

This traditional art form, which thrived during the Mughal era, is deeply influenced by Persian designs. Jaipur’s artisans have mastered the technique of adorning fabrics with intricate patterns and motifs using hand-carved wooden blocks. During the visit, you'll witness the meticulous block printing process, meet skilled local artisans, and even participate in a hands-on demo class upon request, making it an enriching and memorable experience.
