3. INAF Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory
Elegant hilly area that houses the Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri, linked to the figure of Galileo Galilei and the Torre del Gallo castle.

4. Basilica San Miniato al Monte
One of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Tuscany, famous for its facade and views of the city.

5. Piazzale Michelangelo
The most famous panoramic point of Florence, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the historic center and the Arno.

6. Fiesole

Stroll through the remains of the Roman theatre, baths and Etruscan temple in an area surrounded by greenery, with spectacular views of the hills. The entrance fee is included, so you can freely visit the entire area and be fascinated by the Etruscan and Roman origins of Fiesole, where history meets nature in a timeless landscape. Or, if your tour departs after 1:30 pm – or at any time on Tuesdays until March, when the Archaeological Area is closed – you can visit the Bandini Museum, which collects medieval and Renaissance works of great value, and conclude the experience with a tasting of typical local biscuits, prepared according to the Fiesole tradition.

8. Cathedral San Romolo
Visit the symbolic church of Fiesole, built almost a thousand years ago in Romanesque style. Inside you will find Renaissance frescoes and works of art, in an atmosphere of peace and authenticity.
