Via Santamaura is a quiet yet vibrant street in the Prati neighborhood of Rome. It is immediately adjacent to the Vatican Museums, and only a short walk from St. Peter’s 1. Take *Metro Line A* (red line) and get off at *Ottaviano – San Pietro*. 2. Exit the station following signs for *Via Ottaviano*. 3. Walk straight along *Via Ottaviano* heading toward the Vatican walls. 4. Turn *left onto Via Germanico*, then immediately *right onto Via Santamaura*. 5. Walk straight for about 2 blocks until you reach *number 12* on your left-hand side. *Estimated walking time from metro station:* *5 minutes* *Metro Tip:* Line A connects well with Termini Station, Spanish Steps (Spagna), and Trevi Fountain (Barberini) areas. --- *2. Arriving from Termini Station (Main Train Station)* If you’re coming from the central train station: *Option A – Metro (fastest & cheapest):* - Take *Metro Line A* (direction Battistini) and get off at *Ottaviano – San Pietro*. - Follow the same walking instructions above. *Travel time:* About 15–20 minutes total. *Option B – Taxi:* - Ask the driver for *“Via Santamaura 12, zona Vaticano”*. - The fare is around €12–€18 depending on traffic. --- *3.
