1. Guadalajara
We'll discover some of Guadalajara's oldest and most fascinating neighborhoods: • The historic city center: home to the Cathedral and its surrounding plazas, monuments and landmarks. By exploring the city square, the public plazas and the main market you will become immersed in the local culture.

2. Guadalajara Cathedral
This spectacular 16th-century Renaissance cathedral is the most iconic religious landmark in Western Mexico. I’ll share its most fascinating secrets with you! We’ll also explore the four surrounding plazas, each showcasing the beauty of Baroque, Art Nouveau, and Neoclassical architecture.

3. Teatro Degollado
We'll visit the 19th-century neoclassical Degollado Teather and its sorrounding plazas and churches. The visit to the theather's interior depends on COVID-19 restrictions.

4. Mercado Libertad
This is the largest indoor market in Latin America and the ultimate food and shopping paradise. You'll get to admire the vast diversity of souvenirs, handicrafts and products while interacting with the local vendors.

5. Instituto Cultural Cabanas
Hospicio Cabañas: home to a set of astonishing 57 murals by Jose Clemente Orozco, the most renowned artist of Guadalajara and one of the three greatest muralists of Mexico. The museum visit is optional for participants ($110 MXN pesos per person. Payment accepted in cash or by card at the museum entrance. Closed on Mondays). Please note that I will not be accompanying you inside the museum as they have their own UNESCO-certified guides.
