We leave Belfast and head north onto the world-famous Causeway Coastal Route - widely regarded as one of the finest coastal drives anywhere in the world. The road hugs the shoreline with spectacular sea views and sets the scene for a day along the dramatic Antrim coast.

2. Carnlough Harbour
A picturesque fishing village and our first stop of the day, perfect for a short comfort break. Built in the nineteenth century, Carnlough Harbour still keeps an old-world charm - so much so that it featured in Game of Thrones, where its steps stood in for the city of Braavos.

3. Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge
One of the most visited places in Northern Ireland - a rope bridge suspended high above the sea, linking the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede. Crossing is optional and requires a pre-booked ticket; if you prefer not to cross, there are stunning views from the cliff-top path. It is roughly a 1-mile walk from the car park, and crossings can occasionally close due to weather. Let us know in advance if you wish to cross and we will help arrange your ticket.

A photo stop at the dramatic cliff-top ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched on the very edge of the Atlantic. Steeped in history and legend, this medieval stronghold is one of the most photographed castles in Ireland and a highlight of the Causeway Coast.

9. The Dark Hedges
One of the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges were used as a set for the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It was the famous King’s Road in Season 2. The hedges were planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century. It was intended to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their home, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become known as the Dark Hedges.
