Itinerary
1. Begin your adventure at the place where La Nueva Guatemala was born, you'll discover the rich history of our country.
2. A 1905 engineering masterpiece that embodies Guatemala's rich geographical diversity.
3. Enjoy a walk through the colorful central market where you can taste some of the local gastronomy.
4. The most important church in the city built in 1815 that houses paintings, altars, and relics from the colonial era.
5. This imposing palace, showcasing eclectic architecture, represents the executive power of the country. As you explore, you'll walk through the central square and admire its beautiful fountain.
6. You will walk along the most important avenue in the historic center, to admire the best preserved historical buildings of the city and the popular culture of Guatemala.
7. It is one of the most impressive buildings in the city. Inaugurated in 1978 with a futuristic model that implements curves, elevations, and cultural elements.
8. The iconic church of mixed baroque architecture with a 25-meter tower in neo-gothic style built approximately in 1927
9. You will see the fountain to Charles III, king of Spain. Considered the oldest monument in the City.
10. One of the most beautiful and elegant avenues in the city, along with it you will see monuments, sculptures, and historical buildings.
11. A beautiful park located at the end of Avenida de las Américas with a view to the south of the city and the volcanoes.
