Itinerary

1. Tianhe City Department Store (Beijing LU)
Meet at the South Gate of Tianhe City, Guangzhou. Take the metro to Zumiao Station with your guide. Extra transportation during free time is at your own expense.
2. The Ancestral Temple
Marvel at intricate Lingnan three carvings and two sculptures. Explore Wanfu Stage, one of South China’s best-preserved 360-year-old outdoor Cantonese opera stages. Watch live lion dance and martial arts shows to discover Foshan’s folk customs and martial arts culture. Note: Lion dance performances will be suspended in heavy rain with no partial refund available.

3. Foshan Lingnan World
A revitalized thousand-year-old ancient street built around traditional wok-ear dwellings. The district blends cultural stores, food stalls and trendy boutiques, representing the iconic urban landscape of Foshan. Supplementary Note: A 1-hour free lunch break is scheduled here. Lunch costs are not included in the package. Your guide will recommend highly-rated local Cantonese family restaurants, and you can spend the remaining time sightseeing and purchasing Lingnan cultural souvenirs.

You will dine on your self-made food for dinner. About Cantonese Cuisine: One of China’s eight major culinary styles, it prioritizes fresh, natural flavours with minimal seasoning. There is a famous saying: “Food flourishes in Guangzhou, master chefs hail from Shunde (Fengcheng).” Reminder: This workshop only teaches authentic everyday Cantonese home cooking; luxury banquet dishes are not covered. Please inform your guide in advance if you follow a vegetarian diet or have seafood/nut allergies so we can adjust ingredients accordingly.
