Itinerary

1. Windy Hill
Looking up from here, one can see a hill covered in grass and overlooking the sea. This is Windy Hill. A growing number of visitors came to the place after it was used as a filming site for popular Korean dramas such as "Eve's Garden (2003)" and "Merry-Go-Round (2004)." The name “Windy Hill” was given by those who visited the island and became a fan
Duration: 40 mins
2. Hakdong Mongdol Beach
Hakdong Mongdol Beach, filled with small black pebbles, spans a distance of 1.2 kilometers and a width of 50 meters, covering a 30,000 ㎡ area. Walking on the pebbles stimulates acupressure points on the soles of feet, providing health benefits for visitors. Unlike other beaches in the southern part of the country, the water of Hakdong Mongdol Beach is deep with rough waves, but various water activities are available. There are accommodations and restaurants nearby and the dock at the beach offers a boat excursion around popular attractions
Duration: 40 mins
3. Historic Park of Geoje POW Camp
The Historic Park of Geoje POW Camp is located at what was the largest POW camp during the Korean War. The exhibition halls and video rooms allow visitors to experience the life and feelings of POWs. Remains of the war, such as tanks, trucks, and other relics are also on exhibit here
Duration: 90 mins
4. Maemiseong
Maemiseong Fortress is a wall that was built alone by citizen Baek Soon-sam to protect crops from natural disasters, who lost arable land to Typhoon Maemi in 2003. Repeatedly stacking square stones near the beach and filling them with cement has now become a castle reminiscent of medieval times in Europe. Its scale and design are so great that it is hard to believe that it was built without a single blueprint.
