International Driving Permit, must be the 1949 Geneva Convention version in booklet form. ※1968 type IDP, Photos, PDF date, A4 paper, Card type of IDP are not allowed. ★ If you're from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco, please bring your: 1. Passport 2. Driver’s license 3. Official Japanese translation of your license (available from JAF). ※CAUTION※ ・Refunds cannot be issued if you are unable to participate due to incomplete required documents. ・The IDP is only valid if issued in the 1949 Geneva format by a public authority of a Geneva Convention member state. Even in the 1949 format, issued by non-member states or obtained through online sites are not valid in Japan. ・If you are drinking alcohol, you cannot participate and no refund.
