During this walking tour, you will have a chance to try 6 or 7 kinds of local foods or drinks such as steamed rolls, wonton noodles, fried wonton, clay-pot rice, chicken soup in a coconut, traditional Cantonese herble tea, water-chestnut drink and so on. All the restaurants you visit are small but locally famous. Some of them are even on the Michelin recommendation list. Besides food, You will visit an century-old local market to see the fresh and special ingredients that tourists, especially foreigners, have never thought about. What's more, you will visit the oldest part of the biggest Chinese medicine market in China and walk through some 100-year-old alleys hidden in the city center, which are seldom known even to the local. The leader is a truly local and know about 45 small but old and good local food stores or restaurants in the oldest area of Guangzhou. Wearing a pair of comfortable shoes because you will walk for some time. Menu for vegetarian is available but limited.
