Itinerary
1. Nice little country side town " situated in dairy country of victoria melbourne " . will stop in colac for moring tea/ breakfast. ( own expense )
2. Will see the breath taking views of the 12 apostles. The lime stock creations. Roughly 20 million years old. ( also have the option of the helicopter ride at the 12 apostles with some additional expense)
3. The Loch Ard ran aground crashing into Mutton Bird Island in 1878. The only two survivors Tom Pearce and Eva Carmichael managed to drag themselves to the safety of the beach inside Loch Ard Gorge. For a moment, these two tragic teenagers were the talk of the English-speaking world, which very much hoped they would marry (they did not).
4. Razorback is the long, yet very high, rock formation further along the coast from 12 Apostles. With sharp edges & bumps along the back, wind & water erosion.'
5. Loch ard george was the scene of the the shipwreck coast`s famous shipping disaster. The location for a number of movies including " the pirate movie " filmed in 1982.
6. Will drive through the wonders of thr port campbell national park.
7. Rainforest Melba Gully is famous for being one of the wettest spots in Victoria, which has led to its plant life and rainforest environment. We will See Myrtle Beech, Blackwood and Tree-ferns, And Will Take Some Pictures With The Nature.
8. Renowned for its rugged natural beauty, shipwreck stories, and surfing culture the Great Ocean Road and its frequently changing and dramatic landscapes and views make this stretch of road Australia's most famous coastal journey
9. LUNCH IN APOLLO BAY Apollo Bay cafes and restaurants are well worth the holiday on their own
10. Will see iconic Australian animals such as koalas and kangaroos.
11. The Memorial Arch is a popular destination to stop at, as it is the start of the Great Ocean Road. We will take the opportunity to stop at the designated carpark to take a photo with the arch and the statue, commemorating their adventure. A Big Sign Says "GREAT OCEAN ROAD"
12. And will finish our day In Anglesea. Anglesea is a town in Victoria, Australia. It is located on the Great Ocean Road in the Surf Coast Shire.
13. The trip ends here, where you can catch free trams- Trains or Cruise Back To Your Hotel.
