3. Nestled on the slopes of Vodno Mountain, this charming Etno Village offers a glimpse into traditional Macedonian life. Walk among authentic stone houses and wooden balconies, explore rural architecture, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of a typical mountain village. It’s a perfect stop to connect with local heritage and capture beautiful photos surrounded by nature.
Duration: 45 mins
4. The Church of St. Panteleimon in Gorno Nerezi, North Macedonia, is a small 12th-century Byzantine church located in a monastery complex. The church and monastery are dedicated to St. Panteleimon, the patron saint of physicians.

5. Matka is a canyon located west of central Skopje, North Macedonia. Covering roughly 5,000 hectares, Matka is one of the most popular outdoor destinations in Macedonia and is home to several medieval monasteries. The Matka Lake within the Matka Canyon is the oldest artificial lake in the country.

6. Since 1970, the museum has been housed in a renovated section of the old railway station, which was heavily damaged in the 1963 Skopje earthquake.
