Meeting and Pickup
There are 2 ways to reach our Tea Estate. 1. If you are coming from Guwahati : consider taking the sath gaon route which goes through the army camp. 2. If you are coming from Nagoan - Guwahati : consider taking a right from Sonapur towards Sonapur Digaru route.

Itinerary
1. Guest Welcome at the tea garden. Providing Refreshment Introduction to the guide at the tea estate. We will take you on a guided walking tour in and around tea estate of Amchong Tea Estate and a brief overview of how tea is grown, manufactured, and tasted. Followed by a walk around the tea estate visiting plantations. Nurseries witnessing how the fabled Assam Tea is grown, nurtured. Interact with the workers and participate in tea plucking if one is in progress. Visit to the tea factory to see different stages of tea processing such as Withering, Rolling, Fermenting, Drying and finally sorting. End your day with a tea tasting session, where one can discover the differences in aroma, flavour and appearance of tea manufactured in different ways, and during different time of the year. The session also includes tasting teas from other parts of India and the world, and examples of flavored and blended teas
2. Organic Lunch: At the heart of a lush tea estate, guests are treated to a farm-to-table experience featuring organic, locally-sourced ingredients grown within the estate or neighboring villages. Meals are prepared using traditional methods,offering an authentic taste of the region’s culinary heritage. Surrounded by rolling green hills and the aroma of fresh tea, it's a soulful, slow-living experience that connects guests to the land and its people.
