Itinerary
1. The experience begins with pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point. Once everyone is aboard, travelers can settle in and get ready for a day that blends ancient Maya history, natural freshwater, and local Mexican flavors. This opening part of the tour sets the mood for an easy and well-rounded visit to one of the Riviera Maya’s most iconic destinations.
2. Travelers will visit the famous Tulum Ruins, an ancient Maya city built near the coastline and known for its powerful combination of history, stone architecture, and ocean views. A certified guide will lead an approximately 1-hour guided tour, sharing stories, cultural meaning, and key details about the site. After the guided portion, travelers will have about 1 hour of free time to walk at their own pace, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere of this iconic archaeological landmark.
3. After the archaeological visit, travelers will continue to a sacred cenote for a refreshing swim in natural freshwater. This stop brings a calm and beautiful change of rhythm after exploring Tulum, offering time to enjoy the water, relax, and take photos in a natural setting. A life jacket is included for the cenote portion of the experience.
4. Travelers will finish the main part of the experience with lunch at a small local restaurant in Tulum. This stop adds a simple and authentic flavor to the day, giving guests time to enjoy Mexican food after the ruins and cenote visit. It is a relaxed way to recharge before beginning the return.
5. At the end of the experience, travelers will return to their hotels or confirmed meeting points. After a day of history, swimming, photos, and local food, the final ride brings the tour to a comfortable close.

Luggage is not allowed on this excursion. Only personal items, small bags, or compact backpacks may be brought. The vehicles used for this service cannot store luggage or personal belongings, as they continue transporting other travelers at each stop. Transportation is arranged to operate at full passenger capacity, not for carrying luggage.
As of April 21, 2026, archaeological sites in Mexico no longer allow access with backpacks or luggage due to security measures. We recommend bringing only the items that are strictly necessary for the trip, preferably belongings that can fit in your pockets or in a very small bag. Only essential items are permitted, although some exceptions may apply, such as diaper bags. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the care or storage of any personal belongings that security staff at the archaeological site does not allow inside.
Lunch during this excursion includes one Mexican à la carte dish. This meal cannot be modified or personalized to accommodate specific dietary needs or eating plans.
Pets and companion animals are not allowed on this activity. For safety reasons, animals cannot board the transportation or take part in the tour.
Travelers who plan to swim in the cenote should not apply creams, sunscreen, insect repellent, lotions, or similar body products before entering the water.
