1. A jewel of Silla-era Buddhist architecture, Bulguksa Temple is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of Korea’s most revered temples. Originally built in the 8th century, the temple complex showcases stunning architectural harmony between nature and design. Visitors can admire iconic structures like Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, and intricate stone staircases that symbolize the path to enlightenment. Set amidst pine forests and lotus ponds, Bulguksa offers spiritual peace and timeless beauty.

2. [UNESCO Tour ONLY] Step back in time at Yangdong Village, Korea’s largest and most well-preserved traditional village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nestled among scenic mountains and gentle rivers, this centuries-old village embodies the Confucian ideals and class structure of the Joseon Dynasty. With over 160 hanok-style homes scattered across the hills, some still inhabited today, visitors can stroll past tiled rooftops, ancestral halls, and ancient academies. Surrounded by nature, Yangdong offers a serene, immersive look into Korea’s aristocratic past. (Lunch time at own expense is included)

3. [UNESCO Tour ONLY] Daereungwon, also known as the Park of Royal Tombs, is a complex containing 23 tombs that were built during the Silla Dynesty. There are a number of tombs with significant historical value, but Chenmachong (Tomb of the Heavenly Horse), where the inside of the tomb is open to public, is one of the most symbolic sites.
