Itinerary
1. Pick-up from your hotels in Hoi An (1-2km from Hoi An Centre/Post Office/Central Market/Ancient town). Meet at the designed location (meeting point) and begin your Hoi An Countryside Jeep Tour.
2. - Enjoy a picturesque ride along the winding roads flanked by lush green fields and tranquil waterways. Take in the peaceful rural scenery and observe the traditional farming activities that form the backbone of local life. - Arrive at a local family's home in Dong Ha Village. Here, you'll learn about the traditional practices of rice, vegetable, and grain cultivation. Engage in hands-on experiences as you observe and participate in the daily activities of the farmers. - Activity Highlights: + Witness and try your hand at making rice noodles. + Learn the intricate process of creating votive paper offerings (30 minutes).
3. Continue to Tra Nhieu, Duy Vinh: - Ride through more scenic countryside to reach Tra Nhieu, a quaint village known for its cultural heritage and traditional crafts. - First Stop: Visit the Whale Temple (Lang Ca Ong). Discover the local legends and traditions related to fishing and coastal life. Learn about the methods used by locals to catch fish and the traditional net-pulling techniques (10 minutes). - Second Stop: Visit a local household where you will observe and learn the art of mat weaving. Get hands-on experience in this traditional craft that has been passed down through generations (15 minutes). - Third Stop: Head to another local home to explore the process of brewing rice wine. Understand the steps involved and the cultural significance of this traditional Vietnamese beverage (30 minutes).
