Overview
Would you like to visit Pena Palace without spending hours in huge lines? This customized experience is designed for a smooth and well-organized visit. I will pick you up in Lisbon’s central square and we will travel by comfortable air-conditioned minivan to Sintra, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal, located about 30 minutes away. At the colorful Pena Palace, I will guide you through the most iconic balconies, terraces, facades, and viewpoints, sharing the history and best photo spots. Note: We visit all the famous balconies, terraces, facades and the most beautiful views only. We will also explore Sintra’s charming streets, taste a traditional pastry, and try homemade cherry liquor.

Itinerary
1. We will explore the famous colorful Pena palace where I will show you my favorite spots and the best LOCATIONS! You cannot miss this castle in Portugal, however it is very BUSY all year long. If you follow our most knowledgeable guide you will be able to see it all and enjoy the precious moment without losing 2 hours in the line under the sun or rain. We do not visit the interior of the palace due to the lines outside and inside of the palace. Instead we spend around 2 hours visiting the most important and famous colorful facades, balconies, terraces and the most beautiful viewing points while providing the detailed history and interesting facts, and taking beautiful pictures of you. Please be aware of the steep 10 min walk up the hill. If you have some mobility issues you can opt for the transfer service, please advise your guide in advance.
2. We drive through the most charming and mysterious national park of Europe with an incredible nature all year long.
3. We will drive through the Sintra Mountains in the minivan to get to experience its beauty, nature and colors.
4. We'll stroll through the charming narrow streets, steering clear of bustling tourist groups. Our journey will uncover the finest viewpoints and delve into local history, intriguing facts, and unique stories. Prepare to visit Portugal's oldest bakery and uncover the secret behind its famed pastry recipe. A stop at a local wine shop will treat us to locally made cherry liquor, while we learn about Portugal's cork production. You'll also have some free time for souvenir shopping and relaxation
