2. It is known as the Chamber or Hermitage of the Secret, a very literary name that refers to the small construction that is located on Del Secreto street on the corner of the Huerto alley. It is part of what were the orchards of Chimalistac. It was built in 1626 under the tutelage of the Carmelite friar Andrés de San Miguel and is dedicated to the Virgen de los Dolores. On its walls are paintings like The Sermon on the Mount . The people of the neighborhood came to this place to talk in low voices or listen to the sermon of the Prior , represented in one of the friars. Inside it has a stone cross that reaches the ceiling. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
