Pickup Information

Important Information Pickup & Identification Pickup time may vary depending on traffic, weather conditions, group size, and pickup locations. Our guide will contact you via WhatsApp one day before departure to confirm the exact pickup time and details. This is a shared group tour with a fixed itinerary and pickup route. For safety and to avoid confusion, our guide and driver will: Wear company uniforms Carry a passenger list Travel in a vehicle with the company logo Share the vehicle color, license plate number, and confirm your name before pickup. Old Quarter Pickup Notice (Hanoi Traffic Regulation) Due to Hanoi Department of Transportation regulations, vehicles with 16 seats or more are not allowed to enter the Old Quarter between 7:00–8:30 AM. Therefore, in some cases, the guide and driver may not be able to pick you up directly at your hotel. The guide will contact you in advance and arrange the nearest and most convenient pickup point within walking distance of your hotel. Environmental Protection – Ha Long Bay To reduce plastic waste and protect Ha Long Bay, the Bay Management Authority prohibits single-use plastic bottles and plastic bags on cruises. Please do not bring disposable plastic bottles onboard. Complimentary water is provided on the bus; refillable bottles are encouraged. Crowds & Waiting Time (Important Notice) Ha Long Bay is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam and can be crowded year-round, especially: Summer season: May – August Peak travel periods: October – December, weekends, public holidays, and Lunar New Year Waiting times and crowds at popular sites such as Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island, and Luon Cave are sometimes unavoidable and beyond our control. However, our team and cruise staff always make every effort to optimize timing and ensure the best possible experience for our guests. Meals & Drinks Lunch is included in the tour price. Drinks are not included, except for a welcome drink and light refreshments during the sunset break. Guests may purchase additional drinks onboard and pay directly to the cruise staff. Lunch will be served after all guests are onboard and the cruise departs the harbor (around 12:00 PM). This helps save time and allows guests to relax after lunch before participating in afternoon activities such as hiking, swimming, cave visits, and kayaking. Luon Cave activity (optional): – Kayaking or bamboo boat: approx. USD 2 per person (paid on-site, subject to change by the management board) – Speedboat experience: approx. USD 10 per person (optional, paid on-site) These activities are not included and not mandatory. Guests may choose one activity and pay the guide directly; the guide will assist with ticket purchase and instructions. If you prefer to avoid crowds or simply relax, you are welcome to stay onboard the cruise and enjoy free time. Additional Notes Kayaking/bamboo boat at Luon Cave and speedboat activities are optional and subject to an additional charge. A holiday surcharge may apply during public holidays, Lunar New Year, and peak seasons. Please bring a photo of your passport or ID and provide a valid WhatsApp number to ensure smooth communication. Tuan Chau Marina Meeting Point (Self-arrival) Guests joining the tour at Tuan Chau International Marina are requested to wait at the shared cruise waiting lounge or at Malino Café within the marina waiting area. Our guide will meet guests at the marina holding a sign with the product name and the lead traveler’s name, and carrying a passenger list for verification. To ensure smooth coordination, our team will contact guests via WhatsApp in advance, sharing meeting details, photos, and instructions before arrival. Upon arrival, the guide will call and message guests via WhatsApp to confirm the exact meeting point and double-check guest names to avoid any confusion.
