Duration: 5 mins
2. Tennessee State Capitol
Visit the only state capitol where a U.S. president is buried on-site. Guests will hear the eerie story of President James K. Polk, whose ghost may be lingering due to a controversial reburial. Learn how the Capitol's halls have seen politics, power—and possibly poltergeists.
Duration: 15 mins
3. St. Mary's of the Seven Sorrow Catholic Church
Nashville’s oldest surviving Catholic church holds more than just spiritual history—it’s said to be watched over by something more ghostly than divine. Travelers will hear about the funerals of Civil War soldiers, unexplained shadows seen during Mass, and how the “sorrows” of this place might echo louder than we think. Gothic architecture and gothic tales await.
Duration: 10 mins
4. Downtown Presbyterian Church
See the Egyptian Revival architecture of this Civil War-era church that once served as a Union hospital. Your guide will share tragic and true stories of wounded soldiers who died here—and whose spirits some believe never left.
Duration: 10 mins
5. Printer's Alley
Once home to speakeasies and burlesque clubs, Printer’s Alley has a darker past filled with mobsters, musicians, and mysterious murders. We'll explore the alley's ghost lore, including a saxophone-playing spirit heard after midnight.
Duration: 15 mins
6. Skull's Rainbow Room
Located in the heart of Printer’s Alley, Skull’s Rainbow Room has a glittering past filled with jazz, burlesque, and booze—but also a darker history. Guests will hear the chilling story of David “Skull” Schulman, the beloved owner who was murdered on-site in 1998 and is said to still watch over his bar. Lights flicker, glasses clink with no hands nearby, and some say Skull never really left.
