1. Dunrobin Castle and Gardens

Take a wander around Dunrobin Castle and enjoy its fairytale turrets, lovely gardens, and cracking views over the Highlands—top it off with a falconry display, and it’s the most magical start to our day. (Pay locally - £16 for adults, £14 for concessions, £10 for children)

2. Brora

Pop into Brora for a relaxed lunch by the coast, with cosy cafés and sea views that make it the perfect wee stop to recharge.

Duration: 45 mins

3. John O'Groats

Next we arrive in John o’ Groats, soaking up the fresh sea air, snapping a photo at the famous signpost, and enjoying the feeling of standing at the very top of mainland Scotland.

4. Duncansby Head

Stop at Duncansby Stacks for a short walk and some jaw dropping coastal views, where dramatic sea stacks and cliffs make it one of the most photogenic spots in the north.
