Good to Know

• Child policy:
• Children under 4 years are free of charge, but no seats will be reserved. Children aged 4-11 years are entitled to a free Child Pass.
• A maximum of two children can travel for free with one adult. If more than two children are travelling with one adult, a Youth Pass must be purchased separately for the additional children.
• Good to know:
• The pass is exclusively available to non-European residents.
• You must activate your pass on the Rail Planner app before taking your first train.
• The pass is valid across the national rail networks of the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Wales.
• Most high-speed and night trains require a reservation at an additional cost. Check for any specific seat reservation requirements prior to your travel.
• It is recommended to add your children's free Interrail Child Passes to your order to facilitate seating reservations. Add them as travellers to your account and book your reservations well in advance.
• First-class passes are valid in both first and second-class coaches. Second-class passes are only valid in second-class coaches.
• Please note that cancellations and refunds are not available once the pass has been activated.
