1. Fort George
Visiting fort george the only remaining fort in the highlands you will learn about the history of the Queens own Highlanders - The Black watch. The outlander link at the beginning of the outlander series jamie is been flogged at fort william seeing the one of ardiser shows you how big these forts are while finding out about the history in the Highlander Museum admission not included

2. Clava Cairns

Also near the entrance find the stone for Diana Gaboldon the author of the outlander series admission is free for the battlefield not for the visitors exhibition not included

5. Urquhart Castle
We are now half way though the story of season one and jamie has been captured by the infamous Jack Black Randall and again taken to fort william . we are following the steps along the loch to urquhart castle you will spend upto a hour enjoying the 16th century ruins and looking for the lochness monster admission is not included

the end of our season one trail we say good bye to jamie and claire as they head off to france ready for season two :)
