Overview

You'll be collected in a private vehicle for the 1.5 hour trip to Iximche. There, our local guide will explain the lifestyle of the Mayans while you explore the museum and grounds. Perhaps you'll even see a Mayan spiritual ceremony. This site was the first Spanish capital of Guatemala after the invasion, and you'll learn about the lifestyle of the people who lived there. It is a post-classic site established in 1465 and offers a beautiful day out. The full experience is 5-6 hours round-trip. Please specify your pickup location when booking. This tour may be shared with other travelers.
