- The pass is exclusively valid for international travellers, and cannot be used by Japanese citizens and residents.

- The pass is not applicable for JR Kyushu buses, B&S Miyazaki buses, the Cruise Train Seven Stars in Kyushu, and the ARU RESSHA (Sweet Train).
