• This tour includes a 2–3 km guided nature hike at Maligne Lake plus a shorter shoreline walk at Medicine Lake. Comfortable, supportive walking shoes are recommended. • Mountain weather can change quickly. Bring warm layers and a rain jacket or umbrella. • Meals are not included. There is time to eat at Maligne Lake. Bring a packed lunch or purchase food when available; lines can be long during peak season. Bring water. • Hotel pickup is ONLY available to registered guests staying at one of the properties listed below. We cannot pick up from other hotels or accommodations. If yours is not listed, meet at Two Brothers Totem Pole, across from Jasper Park Info Centre (500 Connaught Dr), 15 min BEFORE departure. • Pickup 30 min BEFORE: Alpine Village, Beckers Chalets, Jasper House Bungalows, Patricia Lake Bungalows, Pyramid Lake Lodge, Tekarra Lodge. • Pickup 30 min BEFORE: Wapiti Campground – corner of Hwy 93 & Campground Entry Rd; Whistlers Campground – outside registration centre. • Pickup 15 min BEFORE: Astoria Hotel, Athabasca Hotel, Bear Hill Lodge, Chateau Jasper, Crimson Hotel, Downtown Hostel, Forest Park Hotel, HI Jasper, Jasper Inn & Suites, Lobstick Lodge, Maligne Lodge, Marmot Lodge, The Robson, Park Place Inn, Tonquin Inn & Whistlers Inn. Wait outside the main entrance. • Pickup 5–10 min AFTER: Pine Bungalows – wait near main entry arch. • Pickup 15 min AFTER: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge – wait outside main hotel entrance. • Tour operates in all weather. Weather, road or trail conditions may require changes to hiking locations or routing. Early-season snow or ice may particularly affect hiking at Maligne Lake; alternative walks or stops may be substituted. • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. • Tour and transfer times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather and other conditions. • Minimum numbers apply; if canceled due to low numbers, you’ll be offered an alternative or full refund.
