Itinerary

1. If you choose an option with transfer from a meeting point, please select one of three available meeting points. If you purchase a Hotel pickup option or Door-to-Door service, please provide your address during booking.
2. The first part of the visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial is the main camp called Auschwitz I. Over here, the tour takes place with live English commentary through the original buildings and grounds of the former concentration camp. You will be able to hear your guide through a headset.
Duration: 120 mins
3. The former camp Auschwitz II-Birkenau is the second part of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial. Here you will continue your guided tour on the Birkenau grouds.
Duration: 60 mins
4. The Salt Mine is situated in Wieliczka, near Krakow. The visit takes place either after visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau or before that. When booking an English-guided option, there will be a lunch break of up to 1,5 hours in Wieliczka before the Salt Mine Tour.
Duration: 180 mins
5. The trip will end near the Old Town Square in Krakow if you select an option with transportation. If you purchase a door-to-door service by private car, the driver will drop you off at your desired location.

This trip involves a significant amount of indoor and outdoor walking. We recommend comfortable shoes.

The tour operates in all weather conditions. Please dress accordingly.

The visit at Asuchwitz-Birkenau requires a memorial site dress code.

The Salt Mine tour includes 800 steps descending into a depth of 135 meters underground and up to 3 km of winding corridors.

The temperature inside the Salt Mine is stable all year long, around 14 degrees Celcius.

There is an original miner's lift to bring you up to the surface. The exit shaft is 500 m away from the one used to enter the mine.

The Salt Mine visit is not recommended for travelers with a fear of enclosed small spaces.
