1. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a significant Shinto shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning. As the largest Tenmangu shrine in Kyushu, it attracts visitors seeking blessings for academic success. The shrine features a beautifully lacquered main hall, showcasing traditional Japanese architecture, and surrounding gardens with seasonal flowers that enhance the serene atmosphere. It is home to various historical buildings, including Tenkai Inari Shrine, Treasure Hall, and Kanko Historical Museum, adding depth to its cultural offerings. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal blooms such as plum blossoms, which hold particular significance as they were favored by Michizane.

2. Beppu Ropeway
