Itinerary

1. Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak Peace Park Located just 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, it symbolizes both the tragedy of Korea's division and the hope for reunification. Visit the Freedom Bridge, the war-damaged steam locomotive, and the Mangbaedan Altar, where separated families honor relatives in North Korea. The park offers a meaningful introduction to the history of the Korean War and the Korean Peninsula. DMZ Tour Continue into the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), one of the world's most heavily fortified borders and a unique symbol of both conflict and peace. Visit the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, secretly dug by North Korea beneath the border, and the Dora Observatory, where, on a clear day, you can see across the DMZ into North Korea, including the propaganda village of Kijong-dong and the city of Kaesong. Please note that the visit to Dorasan Station is currently not included in the tour itinerary due to operational restrictions, and the schedule may change depending on military conditions.
Duration: 240 mins
2. British Military Seolmari Battle Memorial Park
The Gloucester Hill Battle Monument commemorates the extraordinary defense of Hill 235 by approximately 650 British soldiers, who held off repeated attacks by a much larger Chinese force during the Battle of the Imjin River in April 1951. Their sacrifice helped delay the enemy advance toward Seoul and became one of the most famous battles involving British forces during the Korean War. The memorial park includes commemorative monuments, sculptures, and the nearby Gloster Heroes Bridge, offering visitors a meaningful place to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of the United Nations forces.
Duration: 30 mins
3. Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge
Cross the 150-meter-long Gamaksan Suspension Bridge, dramatically suspended above Seolmari Valley. As the bridge gently sways beneath your feet, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Named the Gloucester Heroes Bridge, it also commemorates the British Gloucestershire Regiment's heroic stand during the Korean War, making it a unique blend of natural beauty and history.
