Overview
Join a local for a walk in one of the oldest and most surprising parts of Paris. Starting at l'Hotel de Ville, follow at your own pace through some of the Marais’ most prestigious landmarks. You will learn why the famous Knight Templars played an important part in Paris' history, walk alongside 17th-century mansions, and hear about the tragic stories of the famous residents of this area. And as a walk in Paris would not be complete without patisseries, you will find recommended delicious treats along the way. This tour is family-friendly. It has historical commentaries for adults and older children, food suggestions early in the walk and parks/playgrounds should you need to stop along the way. The tour is ready whenever you are. Meeting and Pickup

End Point
The tour ends at the entrance to a secret garden that's close to many cafes serving delicious food and near to the metro.

Itinerary
1. The tour begins on the square of l'hôtel de Ville where you'll hear about the history of the square and what it used to be called.
2. The tour takes you to the entrance of Berko where you'll hear about two other nearby bakeries where you can buy delicious treats.
3. The tour stops near Huré where you're given directions to its front door so that you can buy delicious treats if you wish to

5. The tour stops in front of the National Archives where you're invited to peek inside or wait outside to hear more about it's history.
6. The tour stops briefly outside the Crédit Municipal de Paris where you learn some of its history.
7. The tour stops outside the Picasso Museum. If you have the time you can pause the tour and go inside but be warned it doesn't include the Demoiselle d'Avignon painting.
8. The tour passes Meert. If you choose to you can stop the tour and buy a Flemish waffle before continuing the tour.
9. The tour takes you through the Place des Vosges where you will learn about its history and have the opportunity to walk through the square.
10. The tour ends on Rue des Rosiers where you'll learn a bit about its history and hear about some of the lovely cafes that populate the street.
11. The tour ends outside this little hidden and (sometimes) secret garden and invites you to relax a little while before continuing your journey in Paris.
