This historic square was a Jewish market in the pre-war days, with its rotunda serving as a kosher slaughterhouse. Today you'll still find butcher shops inside, while fast food windows line the exterior - mostly selling 'zapiekanki,' the local street food. The Izaak Synagogue, formally known as the Isaak Jakubowicz Synagogue, is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue from 1644 situated in the historic Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland. The synagogue is named for its donor, Izaak Jakubowicz, also called Isaac the Rich, a banker to King Ladislaus IV of Poland. 3. Kamienica Maurycego Barucha

It was built in the 16th century by Sebastian Montelupi, and served as a headquarters of the Polish Post, and one of the centers of Italian culture in Kraków. 4. Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr Basilica, also known as Skałka, which means "a small rock" in Polish, is a small outcrop in Kraków atop of which a Pauline monastery is located, a place where the Bishop of Kraków saint Stanislaus of Szczepanów was slain by order of Polish king Bolesław II the Bold in 1079. When laid out as the town square of Kazimierz (Rynek Kazimierski) upon the town’s establishment in 1335, this space measured 195m by 195m (only 5m shorter on each side than Rynek Główny) making it the second largest market square in Poland, if not Europe. 6. Father Bernatek’s Bridge

The mural was created during the 24th Jewish Cultural Festival in July 2014 and is located on the “Bosak Building” located at 3 Bawol Square in Kazimierz. This building is named after the Bosak family, a Jewish family that lived in the residence for 400 years until WWII. 9. Old Synagogue

Built on the cusp of the 15th and 16th centuries, the Old Synagogue serves as the oldest surviving example of Jewish religious architecture in Poland and is home to a fine series of exhibits that showcase the history and traditions of Polish Judaism. 10. Remuh Cemetery

The Old Jewish Cemetery of Kraków, more commonly known as the Remah Cemetery, is a historic necropolis established in the years 1535–1551, and one of the oldest existing Jewish cemeteries in Poland.
