Free hotel pickup and drop-off are available for selected hotels within Kuala Lumpur City Centre (3 km radius from KLCC). Travelers staying outside this area may join the tour at our meeting point or request pickup with an additional surcharge. Meeting point: Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC), 109 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. Please wait in front of Harriston Chocolate Boutique near the main entrance. Exact pickup time will be provided after booking confirmation. An additional surcharge applies for pickups outside the Kuala Lumpur City Centre area (payable on the day of the tour).

Itinerary

1. Meeting Point for guest from hotel that is located at out of pick up area.
2. After pickup from the Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC) or your centrally located hotel in Kuala Lumpur, travel by air-conditioned minivan to the first stop on your half-day tour: Merdeka Square. Also called Independence Square, this symbol of Malaysian independence is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire both traditional and modern architectural masterpieces before moving on to the King’s Palace.

3. (Photo stop only) Contrast your visit to these glass and steel marvels with the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in 1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in KL and features a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles, along with 48 smaller domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard.

4. and the exquisite façade of the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station with its fairytale-like towers and mix of Eastern and Western architectural styles.
5. Passing by the tranquil Lake Gardens
6. National Monument (Tugu Negara), a bronze tribute to the lives that were lost in the fight for Malaysian independence, designed by American architect Felix de Weldon. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to the starting point.

9. The Petronas Twin Towers are an ideal place for photo ops; gaze at the city skyline and capture unforgettable moments on camera. (photo stop only, admission not included)

10. KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across.
11. Next up is the Chinese Thean Hou Temple. Learn about the synergy of influences such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism that converge to form an unforgettable architectural ensemble. Checkout out numerous statues of animals from astrology and impressive statues of the Goddess of Mercy and the Goddess of the Waterfront.

12. Known as Istana Negara, this residence of the King of Malaysia doesn't allow visitor access inside the building, but you can take photos of the exterior along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly.
